I’m Ashley, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I specialize in providing compassionate, collaborative and supportive services to individuals, mothers, children and families. I offer individual, parent/child and family therapy as well as individualized parent coaching.

My Approach
In my work with adults I utilize a strengths based approach, first identifying the strengths and superpowers (maybe unrecognized or forgotten) that you already possess. We will work together to utilize and build on those resources. We will work to further connect you to your intuitive voice and build a deeper connection to yourself. I am warm, caring, straightforward and will collaborate with you to create positive change in your life. Meditation and mindfulness have been of incredible importance on my journey of finding joy and equanimity. I regularly incorporate these incredible tools into my work. I am a trained yoga teacher and will work with you on how mindful movement and connection of your mind, body and spirit can change your mindset and therefore change your life. I am trained in and frequently utilize Internal Family Systems and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. I am continually awestruck at the power of the therapeutic journey and am honored to be a companion on this journey.
In my work with children, parents, and families I utilize a whole brain approach. Forever inspired by the work of Dan Siegel, Bruce Perry, Becky Kennedy (Dr. Becky), Alicia Lieberman, Chandra Ghosh Ippen and so many others I utilize play therapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and the Neurorelational Framework (NRF) to bring healing and transformative change to family relationships.
Meditation and Mindfulness
If you seek to incorporate meditation and mindfulness into your work I can support you in learning meditation and breathwork techniques, creating a powerful, supportive, and transformative sadhana or daily practice.
I am trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and can incorporate these techniques to support you in transforming your knee jerk reactions into thoughtful, grounded responses. This can greatly reduce your stress level and create a powerful and lasting change in your relationship dynamics.
Online Offerings
I am currently offering telehealth services so you can receive support from the comfort of your own home. Our experiences in the pandemic have shown us that participating in therapy online is just as effective as in person, and is now preferred for many for it’s convenience and ability to choose your therapist based on match not location. It can also be a tremendous gift to finish your therapy session and already be in the comfort of your own home to process and reflect on the conversation and work that was done.
